In a significant step toward international academic collaboration, Tribhuvan University and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), based in Chengdu, Sichuan, signed a bilateral agreement on July 21 to facilitate student exchanges between the two institutions.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Kundan Aryal, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Tribhuvan University, and Prof. Han Hong of UESTC. The signing ceremony took place at the Centre for International Relations under the Vice Chancellor’s Office of Tribhuvan University.

Dr. Binod Joshi, Executive Director of the Centre for International Relations, witnessed the signing. After the formal proceedings, the delegation met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, who expressed his support and conveyed his best wishes for the successful implementation of the partnership.

Officials from both universities stated that the agreement aims to strengthen academic ties, enhance cross-cultural learning, and provide students with international exposure in journalism and mass communication studies.
